The Brookside Academic Excellence Program rewards your student's hard work, and provides them with the tools they need to succeed. All it takes is a 3.8 GPA, then we will award your student with a one-time $150 off reward per semester.
Grade submissions are accepted the week after grades have been posted. Students should submit grades to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Brookside has a study center at each property for students to utilize for studying outside of their apartment or use for group projects. Midtown and Townhomes study centers are located in the Leasing Office buildings and Downtown's is located at 260 South Tenth St. The Study Center Hours are Monday - Sunday from 7 am - Midnight. We also offer extended hours during finals week.
Creating a friendly environment for students is our priority! As of December 2016, all 3 Brookside locations received the Columbia Crime-Free Multi Housing Program Certification. We are the first student housing complex to successfully complete the program! This program is completed with the Columbia Police Department.
At Brookside, our buildings are secured with swipe access control. This means that only residents and their guests can enter our residential and amenities buildings.
In addition to providing a friendly place to live we we employ courtesy officers who are on call for Brookside residents 24/7. If your student wants someone to walk them from their car to their front door after dark? Have neighbors that are being a little loud on a week night? Our courtesy officers are there to assist them at all times and can be contacted at 573-234-3864.
At Brookside we have three different location options to choose from. All of our units offer large bedrooms that fit queen sized beds, if you choose to select our furniture package.
Our Downtown property provides the closest walk to campus. Some of our buildings are closer to classrooms than dorms! If you want your student to be in the center of it all and be able to walk across the street to campus, then our Downtown property would be for you. This location offers the largest 1, 2, 3 and 4 Bedrooms, Study Center, Rooftop Pool, Courtyard Grills, and our newest year round amenity, the Solstice Deck with 4 Hot Tubs, Fire Pits and Grills. The Downtown leasing office is located above Shakespeare's Pizza at 825 Elm Street, Suite 201.
Midtown Residents are able to enjoy the best of the North Village Arts District and be nearby all that Columbia has to offer including coffee shops, restaurants, music venues and nightlife. Students can still walk or ride a bike to campus easily. Midtown is a great value for residents who still want to be downtown at an off-campus price point. This location offers the largest 2 and 4 bedrooms, Parking Garage, Study Center, Courtyard Grills, Rooftop Pool and Fitness Center. The leasing office is located at the corner of College and Walnut at 1221 East Walnut, Suite 107.
If the downtown living isn’t for your student, we have a community you will love at Townhomes. There are two direct buses to Mizzou's campus for classes, with added weekend and game day routes. This location offers the largest 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, Study Center, Two Pools, Hot Tub and Sand Volleyball Court, along with fast internet speeds and free parking. You can find the Townhomes leasing office south of campus at 400 West Old Plank.
As a Brookside resident your student has the ability to use every amenity at each location. Brookside provides events with free food and giveaways throughout the year.
